Meeting the brief

Small footprint, big vision

We met the clients brief by creating an addition to the back of the house. This addition allowed us to raise the roof line and therefore ceiling height to add volume and light to the space.

Originally a relatively small, 1980's build with a compact footprint, we increase the size of the house to allow for an entertaining space, large kitchen and dining and the special addition of a Cinema room for the movie buff in the family.

Like most renovations and new builds, storage was a key criteria for the family alongside providing space and privacy with the additional bathroom for a young adult child.
