a few examples of our master planning projects...
The objective of this project was to increase the overall functional floor area for a family of 4. Taking into consideration their work, school and recreational commitments and requirements.
To create an aesthetic interior adding light and a simple and effective flow between the spaces.
During the covid period, this process took the clients through a journey of deep thinking, reflection and dreaming.
The resulting master plan gave the clients exactly what they needed plus a few special extra features to personalise their home to reflect their way of living.
This project provided inticate design challenges.
The brief was to design a new master plan for a family that not only increases flow, light, floor area but also includes working with an existing conditions that have been layered upon over the years by multiple home owners.
Homes that have been a design lasagne often require a bit of extra love in restoring design elements that have been lost or covered, or un doing design errors, while considering the incorporation of the new ceiling heights, finishes, materials and the integration of new roof lines. The design process often extends to the external environment too. Ensuring the new design fits snugly into the existing built or natural landscape.
